New Jersey April 23, 1761 L6 Very Fine-Extremely Fine. This is a very high grade example as notes from these early 1760's issues are often plagued with lots of tears, pinholes and other maladies that are detrimental to eye appeal. This beauty is very well signed with great embossing and superb print quality, especially on the face emblem. This is a scarce denomination which is listed in Friedberg as "Rare" in Very Fine condition. In our recently completed Signature Sale a PCGS 40PPQ example realized $1,200 and this example has three vertical folds.
