    Description

New Jersey April 23, 1761 15s Fine. Split along the center fold and repaired with a Colonial-era straight pin. Notes of this ilk were the origin of the phrase, "pin money." Close examination of this pin shows it was produced from two separate pieces, the round head having not been initially attached to the shaft. The note itself is clean and wholly legible.
