New Jersey April 12, 1760 15s PMG Good 6 Net.
9000 of this denomination were printed with plate letters A and B. This plate letter A example has seen extensive circulation with splits and margin rounding although major design elements are still clear including the vestiges of some of the signatures. The note has been contemporaneously sewn together to keep it circulating for a bit longer, a fact that makes it even more interesting as a piece of pre-Revolutionary War history.
From the Colonial Valley Collection, Part II
