New Jersey April 12, 1760 12s PMG Fine 12 Net.
The Eleventh War Issue was authorized by the Act of March 25, 1760 and comprised £45,000 of Bills of Credit whose denominations ranged between 1s and £6. The notes had legal tender status until November 1, 1773 and were invalid after May 1, 1774. The series was again printed by James Parker and retained the note designs of previous issues. This plate letter B note has seen heavy circulation but retains clear design detail and adequate margins but has been severed and reattached; a common occurrence in these notes.
From the Colonial Valley Collection, Part II
