New Jersey March 25, 1776 L6 Choice About New+++. A wonderful and splendorous example of this scarce and highly coveted tricolor New Jersey issue. While this issue is painfully common in the lower denominations, the L3 and L6 are a different story. This example has superbly printed signatures and serial number, bright ink colors, and exceptionally well struck embossing. There is a very light cornerfold buried in the design of the lower left corner that this cataloger almost missed completely. Were it not for that a near gem grade would be in order. In today's third party dominated marketplace even the collector driven colonial arena is not immune from its far-reaching effects.
