New Jersey March 25, 1776 3s PCGS Superb Gem New 67PPQ.
PCGS has not as yet published a population report for Colonial currency, but PMG figures are rather telling. This is quite a common note even in the lower Uncirculated grades. PMG has graded a total of 101 with almost 30 of them grading 64 or 65. They have also graded seven 66s but they have graded only two 67s with nothing higher. The two PCGS 67PPQs that we have in this sale are likely to be alone at the top of the PCGS pop report if and when it is released. The note is spectacular with wonderful margins, perfect print quality, deep original embossing, and ideal colors.
