    Description

New Jersey John Hart Signed February 20, 1776 30s PCGS Choice About New 55.
This note was signed by John Hart, a signer of the Declaration of Independence. It is also one of the notes that were signed by Hart and Samuel How which were stolen by the British in a military raid. These stolen notes were circulated before the third signature was added, although they were actually invalid as currency without the third signature. Hinge remnants are on the back.
