New Jersey December 31, 1763 £6 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25.
Number 226 of only 500 notes originally printed, few if any of which have survived with the eye appeal of this pretty piece. The red and blue inks are as bright as the day the note was printed and all three signatures are clear and clean. Some stains have been professionally masked out as PCGS notes on the holder, resulting in the apparent grade. The note looks far nicer than the 25 grade assigned to it. The lower denominations of this issue are priced at $150 in VF, the £3 is priced at 600 in VF, and this £6 note is priced at $2,000 in VF and unpriced in the higher grades.
