    Description

New Jersey April 16, 1764 30s Extremely Fine Counterfeit. The fourth of four different counterfeits listed in Newman. Interestingly, Newman lists only eight different New Jersey counterfeits, and four of the eight are 30s examples of this issue. This is the highest-grade example we've seen of any New Jersey counterfeit. It's an interesting and historic piece that should attract the desire of serious collectors. It should certainly equal, and perhaps surpass, the genuine example in value.
