    Description

New Hampshire November 3, 1775 40s Extremely Fine. A genuine example of this denomination, and quite rare as such. The two highest denominations of this issue (30s and 40s) are much more common as counterfeits than as genuine examples. This piece has seen very little circulation and would grade higher but for some splits that have been tape repaired on the blank back. New Hampshire notes are the rarest of the original 13 Colonies (Vermont, the really rare one, was fourteenth). Est. 600up
