DescriptionNew Hampshire November 3, 1775 15s PCGS Apparent Fine 15.
A very rare denomination from this series. Although sewn back together contemporaneously, it has a full appearance. Noted with "Center Split Sewn Together; Edge Splits, Tears, and Minor Damage; Backed." The backing paper, from period book, contains some inked notations. Although all the problems mentioned are accurately stated they are not simply "problems". The backing paper makes mention of Sir Isaac Newton. The center split is hand sewn with hand spun thread. These "problems" could just as easily be viewed as charming relics of a long by-gone era. This note is deserving of a premium bid in relation to the more available higher denominations from the series.
