Rare New Hampshire June 28, 1776 10 Pence

New Hampshire June 28, 1776 10d PMG Very Fine 30 Net.
All of the June 28, 1776 small notes are rare regardless of grade. This well-signed example with the signature of Thompson faces up well, as it is boldly printed and broadly margined. The back shows the reason for the net grade; a handful of tape repairs. PMG has graded a single example better (30 EPQ) for all denominations across the entire issue. The only 10 pence note that we have sold was the Newman note, a PCGS Apparent VF 25 which realized $969.38 back in October.
