Description

New Hampshire June 20, 1775 6s PCGS Apparent Fine 15.
A Paul Revere printed "Copperplate Note." It has been repaired along three vertical folds and some additional restoration work has been done. PCGS has noted these restorations and also mentioned "Pieces Added." Both signatures remain strong, and this both historic and rare note has retained a reasonably attractive appearance. It is one of less than a half dozen examples of this issue that we have handled over the years. The note is unpriced at any grade level in Friedberg and simply referred to as "rare." Newman does price these and assigns an evaluation of $7,500 in Fine. This note is worth far less, but still has good value.

    Estimate: $1,750 - up.
