    Description

New Hampshire August 24, 1775 L3 Fine-Very Fine. Very few pieces in total were printed for this issue, which was authorized for just $8,000. This example has uneven margins, but they are generous in most all places. The signatures are a bit faded, and restorations and reinforcements of splits and roughness can be seen on the blank back. Unlike the November 3, 1775 notes, there are no counterfeits at all known for any of the five denominations of this issue.
