First of an Impressive Run of Cohen Reprints

New Hampshire April 1, 1737 2s Cohen Reprint PCGS Very Choice New 64.
This is the first note in a most impressive run of roughly 20 examples, mostly all different Friedberg numbers, with all in New condition (most Choice to Superb Gem New) and with many representing Top Pop at either one or both services combined. We are not aware at what other time there has been such an assemblage of these, but we are quite certain they will be well received, especially when one considers that nice AU examples tend to bring close to $100 in our weekly sales. Mendes I. Cohen procured original plates from the New Hampshire Historical Society and made reprints circa 1850s. As such, the notes bear neither signatures nor serial numbers but they often represent the only truly collectible way to collect a lot of these rare early notes. This note is Top Pop at both grading services combined. From the John J. Ford, Jr. collection.
