    Description

    Colonial American Fiscal Paper - Treasurer of the State of New Hampshire, 1799 Pay Lawful Money Out of the Treasury Form. PMG Very Fine 30.
    This late 18th century type is not listed in Anderson. It is a small format certificate on laid paper and typeset with fancy bordering. The fiscal paper was used for multiple enactments ("Resolves") which could be written in as needed. Dated September 13, 1800, and issued for $207.33, this example is signed by Pearson and Governor Gilman. The financial form is hole cancelled, was previously mounted and has edge damage.
