New Hampshire June 20, 1775 40s PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 45.
This entire issue is unpriced in Friedberg and simply referred to as "rare." Newman does price these and assigns a value of $10,000 in Very Fine with nothing higher. These notes were engraved and printed by Paul Revere and are frequently referred to as copperplate notes. The Apparent grade has been assigned for "Splits, Tears, and Repairs; Pieces Added; Design Redrawn." All of that is accurate, but it all occurs at the outer edges of the note. Myriad problems aside, this is one of the nicest examples we have seen of this rare issue.
