    Description

New Hampshire Contemporary Counterfeit November 3, 1775 30s PCGS Extremely Fine 45.
This 30s is listed in the Newman reference as a counterfeit, but this issue has always traded hands at roughly the same price for both genuine and counterfeit examples. Tory Robert Fowle, whose uncle Daniel Fowle was the printer of this issue, was arrested in April, 1777 on suspicion of counterfeiting. However, he was able to escape. This example is in a comment free third party holder.
