    Two $8 Continental Currency Pieces. An $8 Blue Counterfeit Detector note from the Feb. 26, 1777 issue graded PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30 due to edge damage and tears is included in this lot. The other piece is an $8 from the Sep. 26, 1778 issue graded PCGS Fine 12. The emblem on these notes is a harp with thirteen strings. The motto translates as "the greater ones sound in harmony with the smaller," an allegory that all of the states regardless of their size are in harmony with each other. (Total: 2 notes)
