    Description

Massachusetts October 16, 1778 2s PCGS Choice About New 58PPQ.
The second finest graded example at PCGS below a single 62. Paul Revere printed the faces of these notes and Thomas Fleet printed the backs, partially reusing the plates from the Oct. 18, 1776 issue. Richard Cranch signed this 2 shillings piece. Only 8571 of these notes were printed and this example is numbered 5762. All notes associated with Paul Revere have been extremely popular of late and this piece right at the edge of the Uncirculated grade should be quite popular.
