    Massachusetts May 5, 1780 $7 PMG Choice About Unc 58 EPQ. Although somewhat faded, the signatures of Thomas Dawes and Richard Cranch are clearly visible. This note has "Interest paid one Year" stamped vertically in red ink on the face. Hall and Sellers printed this issue on paper watermarked UNITED STATES. Former counterfeiter for the British, Henry Dawkins engraved the face border cuts as well as the cuts on the back surrounding the emblem. The border cuts and emblems on the back were used for the Continental Currency issue of Jan. 14, 1779.
