    Description

Massachusetts Interest Due Treasury Certificate £13.13s.6d Dec. 7, 1783 Anderson MA-34 Extremely Fine.
A lightly handled example for this major design type measuring 7.75" x 7.5." Interest rate is 6% per annum and this piece is made payable to William Randall. There is one interest endorsement along the left side and the typical large cut out cancel at bottom. A lovely example that is very difficult to find in nicer condition. This piece shows how Massachusetts helped finance the struggle for American liberty.
