    Description

    Massachusetts August 18, 1775 11s PCGS Very Fine 35.
This is one of the most popular issues among Colonial Currency Collectors due in large part to its direct association with Paul Revere and also due to the great Continental Soldier vignette on the back who holds his sword upright "In defence of American Liberty." This 11s denomination is almost never seen and is, in fact, the first example that we have had to offer. The 35 grade is quite high for this issue and the only comment is, "minor restorations," which appear to be a strengthening of the horizontal fold. Very well printed with a clear and clean sword in hand vignette on the back.
