    Description

Massachusetts 1784 Interest Due Treasury Certificate MA-34. Very Fine. A spectacular piece of Massachusetts fiscal history with a couple of light folds and a plethora of embossing. There are a couple of small internal tears that do very little to affect the eye appeal or desirability of this piece. Listed as MA-34 in Anderson as a Rarity 5 this item bore 6% interest rate payable in gold and silver. Your cataloger is fairly certain that we have never sold this type in any of our sales.
