    Description

Massachusetts October 18, 1776 2s PCGS Apparent About New 50.
Paul Revere printed the faces of these notes and Thomas Fleet printed the backs, partially reusing the plates from the Oct. 18, 1776 issue. Only 8,571 of these notes were printed, and this is certainly one of the better survivors. This is the finest example of this scarce Massachusetts issue that we have handled in the past couple of decades. The note's only flaw is some minor paper scuffs on the face.
