    Description

    Massachusetts October 16, 1778 8d PMG About Uncirculated 53.
Another lovely note from this high-grade collection of October 16, 1778 Codfish notes. The collection was carefully assembled by someone with an excellent eye for quality. As a 53, it is the lowest graded note in the group, but for eye appeal, it is as good as any. The face centering is extraordinary. The back has extremely sharp printing to the point where individual pine needles can be seen on the evocative tree.
