    Massachusetts October 16, 1778 4s PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
Both services show two 64s for this note, with nothing higher. We have handled only a single third party graded uncirculated note, which was one of the other 64s we auctioned in September 2009 as part of the Midnight Ride Collection. That note realized $1380. This one, which is right at the edge of the full gem grade, should surpass that number. The Codfish on the face and pine tree on the back are highly evocative of Colonial New England. Added to that, both the engraving and printing of the face of this note were executed by Paul Revere.
