    Description

State of Maryland Exchange Certificate Nov. 26, 1792 PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40.
Listed as Anderson 7 from his 1982 tome The Price of Liberty. Made out to George Truit for the sum of 56 pounds, 18 shillings, 9 pence. There are some small splits and repairs which we expect to see for an oversized fiscal item such as this. Signed at the bottom by Treasurer Thomas Harwood, an important man who also signed some of the 1770's era notes.
