    Description

Maryland March 1, 1770 $8 PMG Choice Fine 15 Net.
The $8 was the highest denomination issued as part of this emission and features the Maryland coat of arms on the face and a botanical nature print on the back. Margins are decent and the note is well inked on Brighter paper. As is often the case with early Maryland notes, however, the note has been severed and reattached with tape at the center vertical fold. The note still faces up well and the reattachment is pretty well done.
