    Description

    Condition Rarity 1770 Maryland Colonial

Maryland March 1, 1770 $4 PCGS Apparent Choice About New 55.
While the 1770 Maryland issue is certainly a lot better than the commonly seen 1774 notes, they are very scarce in AU grade. No CU notes are known to our best knowledge. Despite having some mounting remnants on the back, this is a great note. We have sold a couple of other apparent graded AU examples for around $500, and we would expect much the same result here this evening.
