    Another example with a notation that this note was also gifted by Scharf to Thomas, this fully signed $3 note has the signatures of Frederick Green and Thomas Johnson, Jr. on the face while the guaranty was signed by Benjamin Harwood. As with the $2 above, this is the only example that PMG has graded to date. The printing numbered 6922 for each of the eight denominations that were part of this issue. We have only been able to offer one $3 example previously, a Very Choice New piece that sold for $1035 back in September 2002.
