    Description

Maryland January 1, 1767 $4 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 20.
An exciting example of this much, much scarcer 1767 Maryland issue that is no often seen in this state of preservation. PCGS notes it has been severed and repaired with a piece replaced at the top center, and edge splits. It faces up well and it should bring solid money considering that a problem-free Very Fine would likely be a four-figure item. We just sold a PCGS Apparent Very Fine 25 for $276.
