    Description

    Maryland January 1, 1767 $2 Fine-Very Fine.
A series known for the earliest use of "dollar" as an official unit of monetary value in the world. Also, this denomination (and the $1) are the first to use coin illustrations on American paper money. There are several edge tears with the longest being approximately a half an inch. A large repair is on the back and the upper left corner is missing, too.

    Estimate: $125 - up.
