    Description

    Maryland April 10, 1774 $1 PCGS Apparent Fine 15.
    The $1 notes from this issue contained two ornaments between the denomination in the bottom border as an anticounterfeiting measure. Anne Catherine Green and son Frederick Green were the printers. The signers were John Clapham and William Eddis. The $1 notes were equivalent to 4 shillings, 6 pence sterling. The apparent grade is for edge tears and holes.
