DescriptionLow Serial Number 13 Georgia 1776 $1/4 PMG Very Fine 30.
A really pretty looking Georgia piece from this two note Fractional Dollar issue of 1776. The note is free of any real problems although PMG does note on the back label that it is miscut, which is accurate but not of any particular consequence (they don't mention Jumbo Left Margin). The eye appeal certainly looks closer to the Extremely Fine grade than it does to the Very Fine grade. A very low serial number 13 adds plenty to the allure and desirability of this piece. We actually sold serial number 12 about a year ago for over $400 and that was a net graded PMG VF 30 Net due to a central repair. This note is better and without any repairs of any kind.
