    Rare Uncut Strip of Five

Georgia September 10, 1777 $4/5 Uncut Strip of Five PCGS Apparent Extremely Fine 40.
A fully signed strip from the left side of a ten-subject sheet. These are extremely rare in multiples and practically unheard of as a quintet. In fact this is the only example that we have ever been able to offer. Six years ago it was taken home to the tune of $5750. The Apparent grade is for stains, small edge splits, and minor ink erosion. The stains are ink haze from the signing of the signatures with a quill pen, the small edge splits are confined to the selvage away from the notes, and the minor ink erosion, trivial. It is still an attractive sheet.
