    Description

    Georgia September 10, 1777 $1 PMG Fine 12 Net.
This $1 has one of the clearest and sharpest emblems seen by your cataloger. It depicts Justice with the motto SUSTINE RECTUM (Support what is right). PMG indicates that the note has been repaired (bottom margin; mainly noticeable from the back). Many notes from this series suffer from similar problems due to the weak paper used.
