    $8 June 8, 1777 Georgia - PCGS 58PPQ Top-Pop at Both Services Combined

Georgia June 8, 1777 $8 PCGS Choice About New 58.
By far the finest example of this note that we have handled. In both Friedberg and Newman this $8 denomination is priced far higher than all the lower denominations. It is listed at $10,000 in Friedberg and $8,500 in Newman, both for the XF grade. This note is Top-Pop at both services combined with its closest competitor at PCGS a 45. PMG's top example is a 50. Even though this is far nicer than Extremely Fine and carries the PPQ qualifier, it is unlikely to reach the lofty catalog valuations. It could easily approach them.
