    Georgia June 8, 1777 $6 PMG Choice Very Fine 35. This is the variety with the red "in" in the fourth line of the text. These lower serial number notes are generally found with the black "in" in the fourth line. The one black word in the otherwise red line caused registration problems in printing, therefore it was changed to red quite early in the printing process. We have seen a few other red "in" notes with low serial numbers. It's an anomaly that needs further research. The note itself gives the appearance of a Choice AU from the face, and only when it is examined from the blank back do the few light folds appear.
