DescriptionGeorgia January 9, 1782 Hand-written PMG Choice Uncirculated 64.
PCGS has seen only two examples of this note, neither of which appears on the census, as they are both Apparent. This is the only example that PMG has graded. It is an unnumbered, unsigned remainder, as are all of the very few we know to exist. A priceless piece to any collector of this colony. The original embossing is readily apparent, and the assigned 64 grade is clearly accurate. Decades have passed between offerings of any examples of this extremely rare Georgia issue. It is beautifully margined and its only flaw is a closed pinhole which PMG has mentioned, though the note is not net graded. This is very possibly the finest example extant of this extremely rare issue.
