Georgia First of Exchange £200 Dec. 28, 1755 Anderson GA-UNL Very Fine.
Unlisted in Anderson. There are three six pence impressed revenue stamps. The bottom left of this document, depending upon which page is being viewed, shows a larger paper-covered wax seal. The paper is cut in a very attractive sunflower shape and the wax seal itself shows much detail. There is also some kind of watermark with Latin words and a crown. There are some edge and internal splits. Any First Bill of Exchange is a desirable part of colonial history. Rare.
