Description

Georgia 1776 $8 PMG Net Very Good 10. Rare is a term that is bandied about by some market participants without a true appreciation of its depth but it certainly applies to this note. This Georgia "Sword in Hand" note has five bold signatures with the design being crystal clear and well printed and with plenty of embossing still intact. PMG has commented "Tape Repairs" which is true as there are a few pieces of tape on the back. Overall, the note is wholly intact which is a somewhat amazing feat for this type which should be very well received by any avid colonial collector.

    Estimate: $1,250 - up.
