    Description

Georgia 1776 $20 Orange Seal PCGS Very Fine 20.
This is the rarer orange Rattlesnake seal note and the highest denomination of the 1776 series. Border (i) with five signatures. The iconic Rattlesnake seal is strongly defined and the color is a rich orange. Only some honest wear affects on this problem-free example. The Ford X Sale note, only slightly better than this example, realized $5,175 in May 2006. Quite appealing and a type that presents excellent value based on its rarity and pleasing condition.
PCGS has graded only a single example of this number higher, a VF 30. We've sold six examples previously, but four of those six were maroon seals.
