    Description

Georgia 1776 $10 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 35.
Beautifully margined with strong signatures, a nice orange seal and no problems save for a small repaired edge tear at the right which is all but invisible. In our opinion, assigning the Apparent grade for this trifling flaw is overly critical. High quality Georgias are all very scarce to rare, and these colored seal examples have been very eagerly sought of late. The orange vignette of a millstone crushing a palm tree is unusually detailed and with excellent color. All five signatures are bold and clear without a trace of the normal ink erosion.
