DescriptionGeorgia 1776 $1/4 Uncut Strip of Four PCGS Apparent Very Fine 30.
From our auction of the Eric Newman collection, the apparent grade has been assigned for "Small Edge Splits and Tears; Tape Repairs on Back." The tape repairs are of the edge splits. All four notes are boldly signed and consecutively numbered. The four notes show the four different edge varieties used for this denomination. Georgia multiples are all very rare and this attractive strip should find a home in a specialized collection in the deep south.
