    Description

Georgia June 8, 1777 $8 PCGS Apparent Very Fine 35.
This low serial number 6 Eight Dollar is the much rarer variety, with the black "in" in the fourth line of the text. This was quickly altered, as the mixture of black and red in the same line created registration problems. A few edge tears, a missing top right corner, and a tape repair on the back have been noted by PCGS on this boldly printed and well signed example.
