    Description

Georgia June 8, 1777 $7 PMG Very Fine 30 Net.
This is a good looking example of the variety with the red "in" in the fourth line. All five signatures are bold, the colors are excellent and the seal is rather well-printed. The Net grade is due to the reconstruction of the upper right corner that was once missing. The repair has been rather well done and could easily be missed unless the note is held up to a light source. PMG has commented "Repaired and Reconstructed, Tears"; all of which is accurate but the only issue of consequence is the upper right corner. Our 2009 Midnight Ride Example was graded VF 25 by PMG and it realized $920.
