Georgia 1776 Gold Option $2 Flag, Drum, Sword & Gun Fr. GA-78
PMG Very Fine 20.This is an interesting and very rare "one note type" with a distinctive obligation and vignette. It is thought to be Rarity 7 (4-12 known). The clause made it payable in "Gold or Silver," and the denomination was printed in black, not red. The four vignette motifs, flag, drum, sword, and rifle, symbolize the patriotic spirit. Fully issued with five signatures. Serial 13 and the lowest we have seen. The note has even wear, and very petty nicks are seen when viewed carefully. An evenly balanced example of a rarely offered type.
