    Description

    Delaware May 31, 1760 50s PCGS Very Fine 30.
An incredibly bright, great looking example of this early Delaware issue. PCGS has commented, "Center Split Repaired; Minor Mounting Remnants on Back," but that's pretty immaterial when one considers what these notes typically look like. The highest denomination from this seldom-encountered series of notes printed by B. Franklin and D. Hall. This is in a vertical format and the face has two-color (red and black) printing. The back uses a nature print design. This piece is quite superior to the Newman PCGS Apparent VF20 which realized $1,410.
