    Description

Delaware May 1, 1777 4d PCGS Very Choice New 64.
This scarcer Revolutionary War 4 Pence note has a smaller size format than the shilling-denominated notes from the series, with printer James Adams' engraved the new State Arms seen on the face side. The holder states minor mounting remnants on face in corners. This is a vivid, boldly printed example with four excellent huge margins. The crisp paper and sharp print retains much original press text embossing, attesting to its freshness and originality.
